Hi there, my name’s Tom and I’m hoping I can help you create a healthier and happier lifestyle for you! I’ve grown up around Tunbridge Wells and before I became a personal trainer, I was joining the royal marine commandos. However due to my eyesight being poor I couldn’t join so someone advised me at the time to look into personal training.

Since qualifying as a level 3 Personal Trainer, I’ve now spent a few years in the industry. I’ve also gone on to further my knowledge around health and fitness. I’m now qualified as a Certified Weight Loss Specialist, a Women’s Coaching Specialist, a Nutrition Coach, a Behavioural Change Specialist, and A Exercise Referral Specialist.

Having spent a lot of time researching and continually learning all the latest information in the health and fitness world, I know that I have the knowledge and expertise to help you achieve your goals!

With my own training, as I was joining the military, I used to train at a very high level. During this time I was running a lot and used to be able to run 1.5 miles in 9 minutes and 45 seconds (definitely can’t do that now!). In addition to this, I was swimming consistently and endless bodyweight/weighted training sessions. These sessions involved running up hills whilst carrying a person!

Since then, I’ve gone on to perform in a few different events, the main ones being Tough Mudder in 2018 and 2021, and also The Commando Series in 2019. Both of these events are obstacle runs so being physically prepared is very important (and being ready to get muddy!).

With my training now I try to keep my cardio as best as it can be so that if I want to take part in an event, then the training won’t be to difficult. At the moment my main goal is to increase my strength all around and push my muscles further than normal!
